The KXB series blower purge desiccant dryer employs an air blower and an external electrical heater for the regeneration process. The blower intakes the ambient air required during the heat regeneration cycle through the heater, and then the air flows through the desiccant bed to remove moisture. As a result, the blower purge desiccant air dryer eliminates the demand for purge air, which ensures increased energy saving when compared with other regenerative desiccant dryers.
This range of blower purge compressed air dryer has a large flow capacity, ranging from 23m3/min to 510m3/min, and dew point at outlet is -40°C.
1. High Efficiency Centrifugal Blower
The blower purge desiccant dryer is equipped with a centrifugal blower to produce purge air in a reliable and quiet way. Moreover, an intake filter is applied, making it very easy to replace the filter element.
2. Low-Watt Heater with High Temperature Interlock
The external heater for this adsorption dryer has a sheath that is made of Incoloy alloy, and it features very low energy consumption. The temperature of heater sheath is monitored to ensure continuous normal and safe operation, and the power supply of heater will be cut off if the temperature exceeds a certain value.
3. High Quality Desiccant
Our desiccant air dryer adopts high quality activated alumina and molecular sieve as the desiccant material to ensure efficiency.
4. Advanced PLC Controller
This blower purge desiccant dryer uses Siemens S7200 or S7300 PLC controller to execute all the actions, and the 7" touch screen is used to display the operation status.
5. Pressure Gauges
The pressure gauges are manufactured by stainless steel, and they are fixed on two towers to indicate the pressure during drying and generation stages.
6. Dew Point Display
The high precision ceramic sensor is applied to detect the dew point at the outlet, and high dew point alarming function is available.
7. High Performance Pneumatic Valves
These specially designed oil-less pneumatic valves are applicable for high temperature conditions, and they have stainless steel internals as well as PTFE seats.
8. Low Noise but High Safety
The blower purge desiccant dryer is available with a large muffler to reduce noise level, and a built-in safety relief valve is also available to enhance safety.
9. Particulate Filter
A particulate filter is available to remove fine desiccant particles, thus preventing damages to downstream equipment.
10. ASME Pressure Vessels (Optional)
This range of compressed air purification system can be optionally outfitted with pressure vessels that conform to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1.
11. Mounted Pre-filter and After-filter (Optional)
KXB series blower purge desiccant dryers can be optionally fixed with pre-filter and after-filter before leaving factory, so as to offer better working performance.
12. Tower Insulation (Optional)
The insulation layer is used to optimize regeneration efficiency, and contact barrier is also provided to realize safe working.
13. NEMA 4 Electrical Enclosure (Optional)
The NEMA 4 and IP66 rated electrical enclosure is provided to protect the electrical components against falling.
